ENOC Group to implement the latest Smart Fuel Supply Management System
ENOC Group, through its subsidiary Horizon Terminals Ltd (HTL), today announced the implementation of an advanced digital solution for efficient fuel supply planning using the latest technology.
The announcement was made at WETEX & Dubai Solar Show 2022, making ENOC the first fuel company in the UAE to implement the latest version of this advanced system. The system, called PDI Logistics Cloud, is used to plan fuel deliveries to ENOC’s fuel stations and commercial customers. It is based on current inventories, projected demand, time taken to load a tanker, traffic levels on the way to the facility and time taken to decant the product into a designated storage tank. The system also offers optimisation of storage tank levels throughout the supply chain, reducing onsite inventory levels when sales are low.
ENOC’s subsidiary, Horizon, is a leading provider of energy solutions for bulk oil storage. With a total of 10 terminals located in the UAE, Morocco, Djibouti, Saudi Arabia and Singapore, HTL facilities are strategically located in key markets in the Middle East, Far East and Africa. Horizon operates 83 Prime movers, 67 tankers and 4 Rigid Tankers used for fuel distribution for retail, commercial and aviation operations.
ENOC Group, one of the anniversary sponsors of WETEX, is showcasing its key downstream projects that highlight the Group’s contribution to Dubai. In addition to the HTL fuel management system, ENOC Group is showcasing four other landmark projects, including ENOC Jet Fuel Pipeline Network, eLink ENOC Link station, VitalyX and Yes Rewards.
