Sheikh Khalifa with group of skydivers break 4 Guinness World Records

Sheikh Khalifa bin Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, a member of Abu Dhabi’s ruling family, along with a group of professional skydivers set four Guinness World Records at the CLYMB Abu Dhabi Sports Centre.

This included the athletes being able to line up the largest figure for a vertical skydive upside down and upside down in an indoor wind tunnel, as well as assembling the largest group of skydivers in the wind tunnel.

CLYMB Abu Dhabi is considered the best skydiving entertainment and training centre in the region with the world’s largest indoor wind tunnel. The centre is located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, close to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.

Last summer, Alexey Molchanov set a record in Dubai – he plunged to a depth of 60m and surfaced in 57 seconds. The record was set in the world’s deepest pool, Deep Dive Dubai.

It is noted that Alexey Molchanov dived on one breath, helped by his lung-filling technique where he can take in up to two gallons of air, allowing him to stay underwater for several minutes.

In October, Dubai’s Storm Coaster won a Guinness Book of World Records entry as the world’s fastest vertical launch rollercoaster.

The ride is located at the Dubai Hills Mall and features a 679-metre track with three trains, each capable of transporting 12 extreme riders simultaneously. Storm Coaster opened in 2022 and lifts riders 50 metres in height.
