The number of users of DubaiNow has surpassed 1 million and this shows the public’s confidence in the app and reflects the degree of digitalisation of life in Dubai.
The DubaiNow app, which is a unified service delivery platform, is part of everyday life in Dubai. It is the result of collaboration between various government agencies and private organisations in delivering services that exceed expectations and enhance people’s quality of life.
The DubaiNow app offers access to 130 services from 30 public and private organisations.
Since the launch of the app, more than 20 million transactions worth over AED 10 billion have been completed, including 4 million transactions worth AED 2 billion this year.
Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, director general of Dubai Digital Authority, expressed gratitude to the management team, which places the people of Dubai and the UAE among its top priorities. The DubaiNow app symbolises Dubai’s digital leadership, he said.
Al Mansoori noted that cooperation between various government agencies has played a key role in the continuous development of the app, which has become an integral part of residents’ daily lives. Al Mansouri said that reaching the 1 million user mark of DubaiNow will encourage the Authority to further develop the app to meet people’s expectations and innovate.
He also said that this high level of engagement will encourage the Authority to develop more successful projects that will make Dubai a digital role model and further enhance its status as a global digital hub, thanks to the support of our leadership and the efforts of citizens to digitise and shape the future.
