ENOC Group gets Sword of Honour Award
ENOC Group, a leading integrated global player operating in the energy value chain, was awarded the honorary Sword of Honour by the British Safety Council for the second time; it was one of 94 organisations worldwide to receive this recognition.
In addition, the Group successfully completed the British Safety Council’s Five Star Best Practice Audit, demonstrating its commitment to continuous improvement in health and safety management systems.
The Group underwent a comprehensive, quantitative and robust assessment of health and safety policies, processes and practices. The audit process included a review of documentation, interviews with senior management, employees and other key stakeholders, and a sample review of operational performance. The audit assessed performance against key indicators of health and safety management best practice and a detailed review of more than 60 constituent elements.

To qualify for the Sword of Honour, an organisation must achieve a maximum of five stars in the British Safety Council’s health, safety and environmental management audit scheme. A British Safety Council 5 Star audit is a rigorous on-site audit based on a model specific to British Safety Council standards.
