Dubai Derma 2023 kicks off tomorrow
The 22nd World Dermatology and Laser Therapy Conference and Exhibition in Dubai – Dubai Derma 2023 – will take place from 1 to 3 March at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The largest scientific dermatology event in the Middle East, North Africa and the Indian subcontinent will bring together dermatology specialists, industry leaders and key decision makers from the region and around the world.
Some 340 international speakers will share their expertise in 360 scientific sessions comprising 80 seminars and 90 digital poster presentations by international experts.
Key topics to be covered at the event include medical, therapeutic, paediatric, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Clinical case presentations aimed at deepening the understanding of various new procedures and diagnostic approaches are among the key highlights of the event.
More than 24,000 visitors from 114 participating countries are expected at Dubai Derma 2023 to discuss scientific knowledge and explore business opportunities in the sector.
More than 1,440 international brands from more than 480 regional and global companies will be represented at the show.
The show will also feature specialised pavilions from Korea, France and Italy, where the most popular products from major global brands will be available for purchase and distribution.
Under the motto “Shaping the Future of Dermatology and Aesthetics”, the event will provide a platform for industry participants and professionals from around the world.
Several lectures and seminars will explore the latest developments in dermatology, medical and aesthetic aspects, therapies and medications, as well as discuss the most important issues concerning the sector, including the challenges it faces and how to overcome them.
Dubai Derma 2023 also includes four days of pre-conference conferences and seminars, including specialised courses prior to the event, from 26 February to 1 March, which focus on the latest scientific developments in the treatment of serious and cosmetic skin conditions. Course topics include psoriasis, paediatric dermatology, complex clinical dermatology cases, facial skin conditions and how to make the right diagnosis, a full course on hair and more, which covers specialised areas of the body.
The Arab Academy of Dermatology and Aesthetics (AADA), the largest, most influential and representative group of dermatologists in the Arab region, will also host the AADA Fellowship Course in Dermatology, Aesthetics and Laser Therapy.
The course programme will start the day before Dubai Derma as a pre-course and will continue throughout the event, as well as covering specialised scientific procedures to enhance skills and techniques through advanced courses.
Dubai Derma is organised annually by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, part of INDEX Holding, in collaboration with the Pan-Arab League of Dermatologists, the Arab Academy of Aesthetic Dermatology (AADA) and the Gulf League of Dermatologists.
The event is also supported by the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL), the Pakistan Association of Dermatologists, the College of Dermatologists of Sri Lanka and the Georgian Association of Photodermatology and Skin Cancer. Dubai Derma is also the regional official sponsor of the World Congress of Dermatology, to be held from 3-8 July and organised by the International League of Dermatological Societies.
