Expo City unveils Expo Valley and Expo Central
Expo City Dubai started the first phase of Expo Valley and Expo Central, new residential developments based on Expo 2020 Dubai’s exceptional standards, to redefine urban living within a smart, sustainable, people-focused city of the future.
The projects cater to a variety of lifestyles and preferences and are designed with the highest levels of environmental sustainability in mind, providing eco-friendly homes that enhance the well-being of residents, building on Expo World’s reputation and supporting Expo City Dubai’s broader carbon neutrality goals and the UAE’s Net Zero goals.
Adjacent to the main World Expo site, Expo Valley combines concern for the planet with the health, well-being and happiness of its residents. Smart, eco-friendly villas and townhouses are scattered among the undulating natural landscape overlooking the nature reserve, lake and wadi, whose unique topography creates a microclimate that lowers the temperature and provides a natural buffer against noise and dust.
Expo Valley provides car-free paths and dedicated paths for bicycles and escooters, as well as recreational, educational and wellness opportunities, farm-to-table dining facilities and convenient retail shops, with easy access to all Expo City Dubai attractions via a ‘green corridor’ for pedestrians, cyclists and autonomous vehicles. The first phase of the neighbourhood consists of 165 housing units – a mix of five-bedroom independent villas, four and five-bedroom duos (semi-detached villas) and three and four-bedroom townhouses, with prices starting at AED 3.4 million.
Expo Central, located in the heart of the proud heritage city of the World Expo, consists of three clusters of flats, each with its own design philosophy and target audience. Mangrove Residences is the first cluster, with three towers offering incredible views of Al Wasl Plaza and Jubilee Park, and is a five-minute walk from city facilities and attractions.
The first phase comprises 450 luxury and premium residences priced from AED1.2 million, including one-to-three-bed flats, four-bed loft apartments and three-bed townhouses. They all offer smart, technology-driven living environments and access to podium gardens and sky terraces. Mangrove Residences have pedestrian-friendly avenues, bright, green public spaces, swimming pools, playgrounds, sports halls, retail and F&B, with all the amenities of a new urban community on the doorstep. Two more clusters – Sky Residences and Sidr Residences – will open in the near future.
The first phase will be completed in January 2026. Prospective buyers can visit the newly opened sales centre located in sustainability district, download a brochure or contact residential@expocitydubai.ae.
Expo City Dubai is a city located 15 minutes by metro, connected to major highways and within easy reach of international airports and Jebel Ali Port. It offers residents a wealth of activities and amenities, including 10km of cycle paths, 5km of jogging paths, children’s playgrounds, 45,000 sqm of parks and gardens, and access to educational and cultural facilities, entertainment venues, office buildings, leisure facilities, restaurants and event venues. To date, about a third of the Expo City Dubai area has been built.
