Infinity des Lumières closes its doors
The largest immersive digital art museum, Infinity des Lumières, located in the Dubai Mall, will close its doors to the public from March 30 for indefinite maintenance.
The public is urged to visit the museum in the final days of its opening and view the exhibition Raise Vibration, which features works by Gaudi, Kandinsky and Klee.
The largest digital art gallery in the Gulf region, Infinity des Lumieres opened to the public on July 1, 2022, offering visitors an immersive experience of world-class painting through video projections and displays.
There are 130 video projectors and 58 loudspeakers, as well as a digital façade with 379 screens. Over 3,000 high-resolution images have been displayed, including on the walls and floor. Infinity des Lumières was also home to the largest digital façade in the Dubai Mall, an art projection with a total exhibition area of 200 square metres.
Dubai’s three popular family-friendly parks are also wrapping up their regular operating season with the onset of the summer heat. Residents and visitors have very little time left to visit them.
The famous Global Village is a multicultural park with attractions for the whole family, rides, cafes with cuisines from different countries and stunning fireworks displays. One of the new additions to the popular tourist and family destination is the Asia Road section, a pedestrian street with 43 stalls. 13 Asian countries.
Another popular attraction is Dubai Garden Glow at Zaabel Park. The park is decorated with fantastic figures with colourful illumination, realistic dinosaur models as well as ice sculptures. There are several areas including Glow Park with neon lights, Dino Park with dinosaurs, Magic Park with optical illusions and Ice Park with ice sculptures.
A favourite of Dubai residents and visitors, the Miracle Garden flower garden will also close for the summer. Floral tunnels and three-dimensional water and light installations complement its collection of 150 million fresh flowers of over 120 different varieties. Visitors can relax on numerous hammocks and swings.
