Megayacht designed for the UAE
Italian designer Enzo Manca is planning to build a nine-deck megayacht for the United Arab Emirates. According to the idea, UAE One, which resembles a huge aircraft carrier, is to become the country’s flagship.
The 140-metre long, US$543 million concept vessel was designed with the Emirati nation in mind. Three helipads and a helicopter hangar, a submarine deck, a swimming pool, a spa and 62 bedrooms are all the stuffing of the megayacht shown in the renders.
Enzo Manca said that a member of the Emirates ruling family helped design the megayacht. The idea itself was born back in 2020 during a meeting with a sheikh who was on holiday in Italy. There will be 35 crew cabins, five superluxes, eight master suites and three meeting rooms.
The designer was inspired by the large US aircraft carriers but UAE One will have interior finishes like the most luxurious private yachts. In particular, more than 2,800 square metres of teak wood are planned. The megayacht is planned to be serviced by 65 crew members.
The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 luxury yacht will be sold in the United Arab Emirates, as previously reported, at a cost of US$3.5m. The yacht is a joint project between Automobili Lamborghini and Italian Sea Group. It is inspired by the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 limited edition sports car.
The design repeats “many of the sports car’s design features, including its nautical-inspired dashboard, carbon fibre trim, carbon fibre Lamborghini leather used on the sports seats and steering wheel, and the famous ignition button.
The 63ft (19m) boat is the fastest in the Tecnomar fleet, reaching a top speed of 63 knots with a cruising speed of 45 knots. She has a range of approximately 360 nautical miles. A total of 63 yachts have been produced, one of which is owned by former UFC champion Conor McGregor.
