Arabian Travel Market opens its 30th edition
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Media Council, officially opened Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2023, marking the start of the 30th edition of the Middle East’s largest travel and tourism exhibition.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed highlighted Dubai’s determination to play a key role in developing the global economy across various sectors, including tourism, where decades of diligent efforts have resulted in the creation of strong world-class infrastructure and hospitality services. The private sector, a critical partner in Dubai’s development initiatives, has contributed to this success, His Highness said.
Arabian Travel Market 2023 will be held from May 1-4 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). This year, the number of exhibitors has increased by 27% compared to Arabian Travel Market 2022. The landmark 30th edition is expected to attract some 34,000 visitors and welcome more than 2,000 exhibitors and representatives from over 150 countries.
In line with its theme ‘Working Towards Net Zero’, Arabian Travel Market 2023 will provide a platform for international tourism professionals to make new connections, share knowledge and ideas, and showcase innovations that can accelerate the industry’s progress towards decarbonisation.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed toured the exhibition grounds and visited several pavilions of foreign and Arab countries, as well as international companies participating in the exhibition.
