On both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, families and friends can celebrate Christmas with a lively Christmas brunch at Tasca by José Avillez. Set to melodious Portuguese music that enhances the festive spirit, guests can enjoy a traditional menu accompanied by Portuguese wines, seasonal cocktails and live entertainment.
For a unique festive experience, Netsu chef Ross Shonhan has created a Japanese Christmas brunch with inviting varaiaki grills, sushi and sashimi that complement the restaurant’s dramatic interior and vibrant atmosphere.
The Bay’s relaxed brasserie restaurant offers a four-course gourmet menu on Christmas Eve and an extravagant buffet of international festive dishes and fizzy drinks on Christmas Day. Father Christmas comes to the restaurant especially to bring presents and Christmas cheer to the children.
Guests can also enjoy the festive season with the festive afternoon tea in the Noor Lounge, which is served throughout December and offers a delicious selection of scones, sandwiches and other delectable snacks. Visitors will be treated to beautifully decorated cakes, tea and festive treats in the light-filled lobby with gilded trees and floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic sea views.
NEW YEAR’S EVE
Dubai residents and visitors can welcome the New Year with a truly spectacular celebration at one of the resort’s signature restaurants, featuring exceptional culinary dishes, live entertainment and sumptuous decorations.
Guests can begin the countdown to the New Year at Tasca restaurant, overlooking the glittering Dubai skyline, and celebrate with a specially selected menu of unique Portuguese dishes. Afterwards, the city will be lit up with fireworks and a DJ will play your favourite songs until the early hours.
Or celebrate in the dramatic interior of Netsu restaurant, known for its unique take on Japanese cuisine, and enjoy a sumptuous five-course meal accompanied by music while the Warayaki Grill fuels the evening in a theatrical Kabuki setting. When the clock strikes 12, head to the rooftop terrace to admire the fireworks over the city.
Families will be thrilled to welcome 2022 at The Bay, with live music amid a dramatic backdrop, festive decor and Mediterranean cuisine to suit all tastes.
