Dubai Culture signs a cooperation and partnership agreement with Zoho

In an effort to support creative talent residing in the emirate, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has signed a collaboration and partnership agreement with Zoho Corp, a global technology company. The agreement aims to support the emirate’s creative entrepreneurs on the path of digital transformation, improve their business efficiency and simplify day-to-day operations.

The agreement was signed at the Authority by Hala Badri, CEO of Dubai Culture, and Hyther Nizam, president of Zoho Corp. in the MEA region. This new public-private partnership is part of Dubai Culture’s programme to support the creative community in Dubai. The partnership allows members of the creative community to use the more than 45 applications included in Zoho One, a business operating system, to run all operations on a single unified cloud platform that can be accessed from anywhere.

The business applications in Zoho One are designed to perform various business functions (sales, marketing, customer support, finance, human resources and collaboration) and also include Zoho Commerce, which helps businesses create an online shop. As all applications are built on the same technology stack and supported by a common data model, they are contextually integrated with each other, allowing business owners to overcome departmental silos, unify processes, and use cross-functional intelligence reporting and analytics, bringing together data from different departments.

Hala Badri reiterated the importance of this partnership in enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs in Dubai’s creative sector and helping them keep pace with the emirate’s digital transformation efforts, adding, “At Dubai Culture, we understand the importance of investing in future technologies and advanced digital tools to achieve institutional excellence. In line with the emirate’s directives to create a smart, competitive global economy strengthened by advanced technology, and based on our commitment to provide valuable opportunities to support creative industries and talent in Dubai, we are investing in partnerships with local and international organisations to ensure the ease of doing business in creative fields and increase their growth and prosperity, strengthening the emirate’s position as a talent incubator and global capital of the creative economy.”

As part of the partnership, creative entrepreneurs registered with Dubai Culture will receive exclusive benefits, including an annual Zoho Wallet credit of $1,000 to leverage Zoho’s wide range of offerings. In addition, DC-registered businesses will receive a 10% discount for the next two years, as well as free training on all Zoho applications worth AED 15,000. Zoho will also host networking events and support the creative community associated with Dubai Culture.

Commenting on the agreement, Hyther Nizam said: “We are delighted to partner with Dubai Culture to remove the entry barriers faced by entrepreneurs on the journey of digital transformation. Those associated with Dubai Culture will be able to access enterprise technology at an affordable price and automate their business processes, freeing up time for creative pursuits. We believe this is an important step towards transforming Dubai into a competitive knowledge economy.”

The offer is valid for active Dubai Culture members who are new users or existing customers using free versions of the Zoho apps. All approved applicants will receive agreement credits within 30 days of applying; they can also receive personalised advice and hands-on training on how to use the Zoho apps.
