WOW Summit – World of Web3 Week takes place in Dubai this March
The WOW Summit main event will be held March 13-16 at Burj Park, in the heart of Dubai, organized by GuyWay Events.
The goal of the WOW Summit is to raise awareness of Web3 technology among the local community and international guests. The second edition of the WOW Summit will explore the “Alternative Reality” phenomenon in light of recent developments in the Blockchain industry.
By exhibiting carefully selected Metaverse companies and startups offering innovative GameFi products, the organizing team pays tribute to the Play To Earn hype that dominates DeFi markets.
Partners of the summit include well-known and reputable companies. Speakers include Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni (CEO of Blockchain Center UAE), Hoda A. Alhzaimi (president of Emirates Digital Association for Women), Saeed Al Darmaki (founder of Sheesha Finance and co-founder of Alphabit Digital Currency Fund), Ralph Glabishnig (founder of Crypto Oasis), James Waugh (founder and CEO of DFG), Alex Nascimento (Managing Director of 7CC), Ali Madhavji (Managing Partner of Blockchain Founders Fund and LP at Loyal VC & Draper Goren Holm), Gaurav Dubey (CEO of TDeFi, incubator TradeDog and advisor) and others.
The curatorial team explores the intersection of art and code and analyzes current trends in collecting and exhibiting contemporary art, exhibiting the best pieces of digital art carefully selected from works received through a global open competition. Works from artists from the UAE, Russia, USA, Spain, Barbados, Sweden, Australia, Turkey, China, Japan, Lebanon and other countries will be displayed at the NFT Art Expo.
New developments in the field of augmented and virtual reality are presented as a large-scale program, designed specifically to amaze visitors with the interactive possibilities available in public LED installations.
WOW Week aims to connect talented digital artists and Web3 developers with collectors and fintech professionals from around the world. During the hackathon, the event aims to help visitors delve deeper into the world of digital assets in an interactive way, explaining what GameFi and DeFi are all about.
