Ukrainian business council takes place in Dubai
Representatives of Ukrainian business met on May 10 in Rich Man House, Business Bay. More than eighty registrations and about fifty entrepreneurs who already have or are planning to do business in the United Arab Emirates and are citizens of Ukraine gathered to share their experiences and support each other.
Collaboration for globalization – this is the motto of the meeting, which aims to help Ukrainian companies enter the market or start a business here.
Among the speakers were the following experts and practitioners:
Olena Shirokova – Vice Chairman of the Trade and Investment Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce in the UAE, Legal Advisor at Araa Group Advocates & Legal Consultants, Member of the Ukrainian Business Council in the UAE, Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators;
Igor Sergeev – influencer, investor, founder of Papa Group company, editor in chief of Dubai People magazine and WOW magazine;
Daryna Mayorova – Entrepreneur with businesses in Ukraine and the UAE, an international business franchise for children. Ambassador of the UWILL International Women’s Club in the UAE
Nick Doroshenko – President of the Ukrainian Business Council, partner of VisEngine LTD, CharterClick LLC;
Violetta Loziuk – entrepreneur and co-owner in Sangallo decor production company, PhD, certified consultant.
During his speech, Igor Sergeev invited Irina Gorovaya to the stage, with whom they also discussed personal and company brand development. Irina Gorovaya is the co-fouder of Mozgi Entertainment.
During the discussion practical issues were discussed:
• Features of PR in the UAE. Stages of PR strategy. How to declare yourself in the UAE.
• Basics and nuances of entering the UAE and Middle East market. What to be ready for. Government and non-government tenders.
• Financial planning for entering the UAE market.
• Investment opportunities for launch and scaling.
In the end, networking was active. Entrepreneurs talked to each other and to experts. We are confident that the support of the Ukrainian business community will help open the UAE market to Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
