DubaiPay now on Al Ansari Exchange Mobile App
The Dubai government, represented by the Department of Finance (DoF) and Dubai Smart Government Establishment (DSG), has partnered with Al Ansari Exchange to make DubaiPay payment services available on the Al Ansari Exchange mobile app.
Wesam Al Abbas Lootah, CEO of DSG, Jamal Hamed Al Marri, CEO of DoF Central Accounts, and Rashed A. Al Ansari, CEO of Al Ansari Exchange, signed the agreement at Digital Dubai headquarters.
Under the terms of the collaboration, Al Ansari Exchange will join DubaiPay’s list of service providers, becoming one of the first private companies and the first exchange company to connect to the app. As a result, Al Ansari Exchange customers can now use DubaiPay as an alternative payment method available on the mobile app.
Jamal Al Marri stressed the importance of enabling the private sector to take advantage of Dubai’s advanced financial and digital infrastructure. “DoF is committed to improving customer satisfaction and happiness in the emirate, as this is one of its most important strategic goals. Our partnership with Al Ansari Exchange is in line with our ongoing collaboration with Digital Dubai, other government organisations and the private sector to expand the reach and services of DubaiPay to provide more secure and flexible payment options for users,” he said.
Wesam Lootah said: “Digital Dubai is committed to adopting cutting-edge technology and targeting it to make life easier and happier for people in Dubai, firmly establishing the emirate as the world’s leading ‘smart city’. To this end, DubaiPay enables users to seamlessly pay bills and purchase online services from one centralised, secure and easy-to-use app.”
“We are constantly working to expand the scope of DubaiPay in line with Digital Dubai’s mission to digitise all aspects of life in the emirate in close collaboration between government and the private sector,” Lootah added. Given this commitment, we are delighted to welcome a private sector company to the platform for the first time.” By connecting Al Ansari Payment System to the DubaiPay gateway, we will be able to offer users a wider range of secure online payment services available anytime, anywhere.”
Rashed Al Ansari said: “We are honoured and proud to enter into a partnership with DOF and Digital Dubai and become the first exchange company to connect our smart application to the government’s Dubai Pay digital system.
“This partnership reflects the Dubai government’s desire to increase customer happiness and accelerate the pace of digital transformation, as well as the trust placed in Al Ansari Exchange. With this innovative solution, we will be able to offer innovative payment options, providing our customers with easy access and seamless transactions. We remain committed to maintaining and expanding our partnerships with leading public and private institutions, as well as accelerating our digitisation efforts to facilitate seamless and secure transactions for our customers,” he added.
