Home Check-in service from Emirates
Emirates is adding another First Class experience with its new Home Check-in service, which offers customers the opportunity to conveniently and comfortably check-in for their flight from home.
This service is available free of charge to Emirates First Class customers living in Dubai and Sharjah. A check-in agent will arrive at their home or hotel at the pre-booked time to take care of all check-in formalities, including document checks, baggage check-in and boarding passes. There is a dedicated counter at the airport for extra baggage drop-off at the last minute.
Check-in agents will deliver luggage directly to the airport, while customers can drive to the airport at their convenience using pre-booked complimentary Emirates chauffeur-driven luggage delivery service.
The complimentary home check-in service must be booked at least 24 hours before flight departure and the latest check-in time for the home service is six hours before flight departure.
Upon arrival at Dubai International Airport (DXB), which should be at least 90 minutes before departure, customers can go straight through immigration and security and then proceed to a dedicated Emirates First Class lounge.
All Emirates customers can have a contactless experience at the airport, using the Emirates app to check-in and issue a mobile boarding pass, as well as using the Emirates self-service system to drop off luggage. Check-in customers can move seamlessly around the airport using the integrated biometric tunnel and smart gate at DXB.
First Class customers can take advantage of the full range of branded services located in Emirates First Class Lounge, such as a complimentary facial at Timeless Spa, complimentary shoemaker services from Mr Cobbler, four varieties of champagne at the dedicated Moet and Chandon bar, special offers at luxury wine and spirits shop Le Clos and limited-edition tea blends from Dilmah Tea.
From the Emirates Lounge, customers can directly access their flight via a private air bridge on some routes.
Offering over 1,700 First Class seats in its fleet of A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft, Emirates continues to set the standard for First Class travel by offering Emirates’ signature First Class experience and innovative products such as fully enclosed private suites, in-flight shower, in-flight lounge and many other industry innovations.
