Arab Media Forum: registration is now open

Dubai Press Club, organiser of the 20th edition of the Arab Media Forum, has announced that registration for the Forum is now open. The two-day event, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, will bring together prominent political figures, writers, thought and opinion leaders, prominent media personalities and heads of leading Arab and international media organisations on 4-5 October at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai.

AMF, established by the DPC over 20 years ago, is one of the highlights of the DPC’s annual calendar of events. The largest media gathering in the Arab world, AMF has become the most comprehensive knowledge-sharing platform in the Arab media community. The annual platform, which attracts thousands of prominent thought leaders, has continually evolved in scope and reach to include a broad international perspective.

This edition of the event will feature an extensive agenda that will address several topics related to the future of media in light of the rapid transformation of the industry. The forum also intends to identify challenges and propose solutions that will play a key role in shaping the region’s media landscape over the next few years.

Dr Maitha Buhumaid, Director of the Dubai Press Club, said registration for the Arab Media Forum could be completed through the Forum’s platform https://amfregistration.com. She said that the 20th edition of the Forum will continue its mission to explore new ways of media development in the region and look at key trends affecting the future of the sector.

Dr Buhumaid added that preparations for the Forum have reached the final stages and that the Dubai Press Club will soon announce the full programme for this year’s event. She said the agenda will cover topics that will allow participants to exchange views on the key requirements for media development in the region.
