WETEX 2022 welcomes 1,750 companies from 55 countries

The 24th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) will bring together 1,750 companies from 55 countries. The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is organising the show from September 27 to 29 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

“The organisation of WETEX and Dubai Solar Show is in line with the vision of wise leadership to promote sustainable development in the UAE and strengthen Dubai’s position as a leading global green economy hub and a preferred venue for organising and hosting major international events, conferences and exhibitions. Over the 23 years of its existence, WETEX has established itself as one of the largest and most prominent trade fairs. It has become a key platform for global organisations in energy, water, environment, oil & gas, green development and related sectors to present their latest solutions, products and innovative technologies. The exhibition also introduces the world to the UAE’s achievements in the renewable and clean energy sector, and highlights Dubai’s efforts to increase the share of renewable energy and promote sustainable development in line with Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and Dubai Net Zero Emissions Strategy 2050, which aims to provide 100% of Dubai’s total capacity from clean energy sources by 2050,” said His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, CEO of DEWA, Founder and Chairman of WETEX and Dubai Solar Show.

The exhibition provides an opportunity for government and private sector organisations to connect with thousands of exhibitors, exhibitors, officials and decision makers to close deals and forge partnerships and identify market needs. This is particularly important given the significant increase in renewable and clean energy projects in the UAE and the region. WETEX and DSS also provides a unique platform for investors to build business relationships and communicate with decision makers in various sectors. In addition, the exhibition allows visitors to benefit from a rich programme of specialised seminars and workshops.

WETEX and DSS 2022 is co-located with the 8th World Green Economy Summit organised by the World Green Economy Organisation, DEWA and the Dubai High Energy Council in cooperation with international partners on 28-29 September 2022 under the theme “Leading Climate Action through Cooperation: Roadmap to Zero”. The summit will bring together officials and decision makers from around the world.

This year WETEX and DSS will occupy 62,513 square metres of exhibition space and feature some 1,750 companies from 55 countries as well as 62 sponsors and 32 partners and supporting associations. The exhibition will have 20 international pavilions.

WETEX and Dubai Solar Show will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre in Halls 1-8, Arena Halls 1, 2 and Sheik Saeed Halls 1,2,3.
