DEWA to unveil innovative initiatives at GITEX Technology Week 2022

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will participate in the 42nd GITEX Technology Week from 10-14 October 2022 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. At its stand, DEWA will showcase some of its most visible and proactive digital initiatives based on the latest technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as artificial intelligence, drones, energy storage, blockchain, Internet of Things, robotics and others. This aims to provide an integrated, innovative and value-driven experience that meets customer aspirations and enhances stakeholder happiness and quality of life in Dubai.

“GITEX Technology Week is the ideal platform to showcase DEWA’s achievements in digital transformation and its tireless efforts to maintain its global position as one of the most prominent and advanced utility companies globally. The exhibition also provides an ideal opportunity to expand DEWA’s partnerships and meet experts and specialists, solution providers, investors, government decision makers and potential business partners in various areas of the Fourth Industrial Revolution from around the world,” said H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, CEO of DEWA.

In addition to its projects, DEWA is showcasing projects from Digital DEWA, its digital division, and projects from its subsidiaries under the Dubai 10X initiative, such as Data Hub Integrated Solutions (Moro) – a green data centre, Moro cloud services and cybersecurity services. This is in addition to Digital X projects such as the Intelligent Applications Project of the Innovation Centre and InfraX projects in cooperation with strategic partners, in particular 5G chip solutions that use the latest advanced computing technologies in the utilities sector, the Internet of Things and their applications.

Visitors to the DEWA stand at GITEX 2022 as well as users of its website (www.dewa.gov.ae) and smart applications will have the opportunity to win valuable prizes.
