Maktoum bin Mohammed visits GITEX GLOBAL
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE attended the 42nd GITEX GLOBAL, which concluded at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Friday. More than 5,000 leading technology companies, including 35 unicorns, from more than 90 countries participated in this year’s event.
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed said Dubai was providing an improved customer experience by introducing the latest technology and solutions.
His Highness expressed appreciation to the various local governments participating in the event for their efforts to introduce innovative solutions that support the UAE’s strategic goals of providing world-class services to citizens, residents and visitors.
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed toured the pavilions of several government organisations at GITEX GLOBAL, accompanied by His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, Director General of Dubai Digital Authority. His Highness was briefed on the cutting-edge technology solutions and digital products showcased at the event.
Sheikh Maktoum visited the pavilions of the Dubai General Authority for Residents and Foreigners, Smart Dubai, Dubai Police, Dubai Courts, Dubai Chambers, Roads and Transport Authority, Du and Emaratech.
His Highness also toured the pavilions of the Saudi Ministry of Interior, UAE Ministry of Finance, Ajman Government, Abu Dhabi Government and Sharjah Government.
