Their Patio: Dubai Airport opens its first co-working space
Dubai International Airport has opened its first co-working space for travelers called Their Patio. The dedicated Their Patio lounge at Terminal 3 has everything you need to meet and be productive before you travel.
This includes a conference room, meeting rooms as well as office space. A variety of office services can be booked at the co-working space. It can cater for 398 travellers a day.
The cost to use the room is AED 130 for two hours and AED 145 for three hours. Esaad cardholders and Smart Travelers Membership programme members can enjoy a 20% discount.
Earlier, Sleep ‘n Fly, Dubai International Airport’s largest sleeper lounge, was opened in Terminal 3. Passengers can enjoy a quick sleep area, airplane-shaped sleeping pods, showers and unlimited refreshments.
The lounge accommodates passengers of all classes and can accommodate 46 travellers at a time, who can book cabins with bunk beds, Flexisuite capsules with reclining beds and business capsules with folding tables and charging stations for phones and laptops.
The Flexisuite capsules, for example, will cost US$110 for a six-hour stay – they are designed in the form of first-class aircraft seats that fold out into beds. Pillows and blankets are available at an additional cost. The pods are soundproof and lock from the inside.
For a full night’s sleep, Yawn’s bunk, twin or family cabins have beds, including baby beds, cotton linens, earplugs and a wake-up service for passengers. Accommodation rates start from US$ 173. Business cabins with high-speed internet can be booked for two hours, for US$43. Shower facilities are available at an additional cost.
