#DubaiDestinations publishes Picnic and Camping Guide

The new #DubaiDestinations interactive guide released by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Dubai Government Media Office (GDMO), invites residents and travellers to explore the city’s beautiful outdoors with an extensive picnic and camping guide.

The Picnic and Camping Guide lists the various recreational sites and attractions in Dubai, offering tips on barbecuing, camping and taking advantage of the beautiful winter weather. It includes a checklist of essential items and equipment that you should have with you when you go camping on your own. The guide lists online platforms for buying or renting camping gear and picnic kits, and lists the best domestic businesses in Dubai that offer ready-to-use picnic and camping kits.

Camping spots in the #DubaiDestinations guide include Hatta, Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and deserts around the city such as Al Qudra, Al Aweer, Al Ruwayah and Half Desert Road. Picnic spots in the guide include beach and pond parks, lakes, nature escapes, scenic areas, hilltop picnic areas, beaches and deserts. The public and private recreational facilities listed in the guide represent a huge variety of outdoor offerings that define Dubai’s unique experience and make it a better city to live in. Places featured in the guide include Dubai Creek Park, Al Barari Nature Escape, Wadi Hatta Park, Al Marmoom Lakes, Safa Park, Leem Recreation Area, Jumeirah Beach, Al Khazzan Park and many more.

The guide also lists picnic organising companies. It also lists companies that help set up tents, caravans and even outdoor cinemas for groups of all sizes and budgets.

The guide is part of the latest phase of Dubai Media Council’s #DubaiDestinations winter campaign, which returns this year to showcase the attractions and experiences that make the emirate the best among global destinations during the cooler months of the year.

The joint campaign, implemented by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of GDMO, highlights the various activities and experiences that people can enjoy during the beautiful winter weather. This season Dubai offers residents and visitors amazing adventures, entertainment, food, art, culture, sports and fitness.

The campaign highlights Dubai’s emergence as one of the world’s top winter destinations and features engaging content from a variety of stakeholders.

The latest #DubaiDestinations initiative campaign, which runs until February 2023, encourages residents and visitors to discover the diverse leisure, dining, adventure and family activities that make the city a distinctive winter destination.

The #DubaiDestinations campaign is being run across digital, broadcast, print and outdoor media to reach a wide local and international audience. Brand Dubai is implementing the #DubaiDestinations campaign in partnership with various stakeholders and the creative media community.
