Dubai unveils new observation deck

Dubai has introduced a new free landmark – an observation deck offering stunning views of Dubai Bay and the emirate’s panorama.

The terrace rises 11.65 metres above the water. A 70 metre steel structure towers over the bay, with a 26 metre cantilever directly over the water.

The new landmark is a master plan for the Dubai Creek Harbour development. It is located on one of the most popular walkways in the area.

Last week, the new five-star Address Grand Creek Harbour Hotel, a new project of Emaar Hospitality Group, opened its doors on the shores of Dubai Creek. The hotel offers 223 rooms and suites, including a three-bedroom presidential suite.

Facilities include a signature spa, a 175sqm fitness centre with yoga studios and an infinity pool. The hotel has several restaurants, including The Patisserie coffee shop, Luma Pool Lounge and Club Lounge.

Address Grand Creek Harbour Hotel is also part of the ambitious 1.4 million sq ft Creek Harbour development, which will also include retail shops and serviced apartments.
