MENA IPO Summit begins in Dubai today

MENA IPO Summit will take place from 23-25 January at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “Last year, Dubai accounted for 40% of IPO activity in the Gulf region, amounting to AED 673 billion. Guided by the ambitious goals of the Dubai Economic Programme (D33), Dubai will continue to accelerate economic growth and strengthen its position as a major international financial centre.”

MENA IPO Summit will bring together industry experts who will share first-hand knowledge of the IPO process, the opportunities and challenges of becoming a public company, and how to promote ESG programmes. The summit will also provide a roadmap for start-ups and SMEs in Dubai, including expertise on the regulatory framework, business culture and opportunities to raise capital to scale up to IPO.

MENA IPO Summit will provide a platform for industry-defining discussions, giving institutional investors, family businesses and start-ups the opportunity to explore the latest regulations, best practices and market trends in Dubai’s capital market, as well as learn about the latest regional IPO success stories. Participants will have the opportunity to network with key IPO issuers and thought leaders from the investment and capital markets industry.

The Summit will generate lively discussion among issuers, investment experts, regulators and companies strategically preparing for a future listing.
