Jason Momoa to look after Yas Island
Hollywood actor Jason Momoa, known to many for the film Aquaman, has become the new ‘director’ of Yas Island Entertainment in Abu Dhabi. He succeeds stand-up comedian Kevin Hart, who announced his departure in early 2023.
A video has already surfaced online showing Jason Momoa approaching the island on a SUP board paddling. The facade of the W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island Resort welcomes the star with its lighting. The celebrity and the island’s transformation can be followed on social media using the hashtag #LiveItUpLikeMomoa.
In March 2023, Yas Entertainment Island in Abu Dhabi announced the winner of the “best work in the world” in a competition with the same name – the United Arab Emirates-based marketer Ajax Bader.
The native of Argentina was able to prove to the organisers why he is the perfect candidate for the position with a salary of US$ 100,000, promising to make Yas Island the coolest entertainment destination in the world.
The winner lived in a suite at the W Abu Dhabi Yas Island Hotel for 60 days. Of course, he visited all the island’s major theme parks including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
