Dubai Islands Beach – new dog-friendly beach

Dubai’s newly opened public beach at Dubai Islands will be dog-friendly and provide an easy access for the pets to frolic in the sand and swim in the sea, Nakheel, the island’s developer, said.

There will also be a water sports centre on the beach, which will be open from sunrise to sunset. Here kayaking and other water activities will be offered. By the end of the year restaurants and cafes will be opened.

Dubai Islands Beach, free to the public, is part of the Deira waterfront development and is located close to the Centara Mirage Beach Resort and Riu hotels. The beach can be reached by car and can also be reached by boat.

Boat and boat owners can anchor off the islands at Nakheel Marina Dubai. Last summer, Nakheel published a master plan for the development of the Dubai Islands archipelago off the emirate’s coast. The plan is to develop five islands with a total area of 17km2 of residential areas and commercial space.

Cultural and sports centres, beach clubs, as well as innovative transport links with easy access to the city and the airport are planned for each island, which will make the project more attractive to investors.

The new project will also strengthen Dubai’s position as a global tourism destination, as more than 80 resorts and hotels will open on the islands, including luxury and wellness resorts, boutique hotels, family and eco-hotels. The total length of the beach line will be more than 20 km.

It is worth noting that the residential areas will also have parks, sports and playgrounds, as well as premium golf courses overlooking the Persian Gulf. Each island will have its own unique benefits.
