Second tallest building in the world to be built in Dubai
Dubai has announced the construction of the second tallest building in the world after the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. The tower, which will house a 7-star hotel, is scheduled for completion in 2027. The skyscraper will be more than 600 metres tall and will be built on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Farhad Azizi, CEO of Azizi Group, the company constructing the building, officially announced the news on Twitter. According to Mr Azizi, this is an incredible achievement for the company. After all, the Azizi brand was founded by his father, a native of Afghanistan named Mirwais Azizi in 1989 with a capital of US$ 500.
Azizi CEO Michael Zager told Hotelier Middle East in an interview that the new 7-star hotel will be created based on the company’s own standards, which exceed global hotel classification standards. And he added that Azizi always creates its own regulations for each market segment, so it achieves the highest results.
The planned construction cost of the tower is Dh3 billion (US$ 816 million), the first 100 floors will house residential apartments and the remaining 22 floors will be a luxury hotel.
The difference between Azizi Holding and other leading developers in Dubai is that the company’s representatives are not just developers, they are also designers, managers and owners of the facilities. Control at every stage of the construction and operation of buildings brings their business to a completely different level.
It should be reminded that the Burj Khalifa tower with a height of 828 metres, located in the centre of Dubai, is considered to be the tallest building in the world. The Burj Khalifa skyscraper also holds other world records, including for the highest number of floors, the highest outdoor observation deck and the highest service lift.
