Three-day super sale

Three-day super sale kicks off in Dubai

From 1 to 3 September 2023, Dubai will host a three-day super sale to mark the finale of the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) summer shopping and entertainment festival. Shopping enthusiasts can expect discounts of up to 90 per cent on various categories of goods – from clothing and footwear to electronics and furniture.

The most fashionable brands will offer additional discounts on their collections during the three-day super sale. In addition, parents will have the opportunity to buy school and sports goods at more attractive prices. Dubai Festival City Mall will be giving away AED 10,000 gift cards.

At Majid Al Futtaim shopping centres, shoppers can win DSS SHARE points, which allow them to make purchases worth AED 100,000. The final sale will be accompanied by an entertainment programme.

For example, on 1 September, Dubai will host the finale of the Beat the Heat music festival, featuring Egyptian rock band Massar Egbari and Palestinian performer Big Sam. On the same day, Bollywood star Farhan Akhtar will take the stage at the Coca-Cola Arena, where Nigerian singer Davido will perform on 2 September and Jah Khalib will present his show on 3 September.

It is worth recalling that Dubai residents and visitors will also be treated to the following sales and festivals until the end of 2023:

● Dubai Home Festival, a traditional festival and sale of home and interior goods, is scheduled from 13 to 27 October 2023. Furniture and home appliances will also be sold at attractive prices.

● Dubai Fitness Challenge – an annual fitness and healthy lifestyle festival designed to make Dubai the world’s most fit and active city – will start on 28 October and end on 26 November 2023.

● Diwali in Dubai – the Indian festival of lights and the triumph of good over evil – is also accompanied by themed events, sales and, of course, evening fireworks. It will take place from 3 to 16 November 2023.

● UAE National Day is celebrated between 1 and 3 December. In 2023, the Emirates will celebrate the 52nd anniversary of unification. The celebration will be accompanied by city decorations, promotions and fireworks.
