Dubai welcomes tourists for ‘winter sun’
Dubai has been named one of the best places in the world to experience the ‘winter sun’, with the emirate’s sunny day lasting around eight hours and an average temperature of +24.6°C during the winter months, according to a Travelbag survey.
Dubai was ranked among the world’s top three by this indicator, trailing Santiago (Chile) and Cape Town (South Africa). Dubai’s rise in the rankings was helped by high traveller ratings of its attractions, with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5.
Dubai previously ranked sixth in the list of the most picturesque cities in the world, according to a study conducted by the online portal Travelbag after analysing the marks of 100 cities in social networks Instagram and TikTok.
Experts concluded that Dubai’s views are among the best in the world for pictures posted on social media. The first place went to London, with Paris and Berlin also in the top three. By the way, New York and London became the most viewed cities on TikTok.
The famous magazine Condé Nast Traveler included Dubai in the list of the most beautiful cities in the world to visit in summer. The magazine described Dubai as the perfect summer holiday destination for sun-seekers.
It is worth noting that Dubai ranked second in the list of places travellers should visit by the end of 2023. Among the reasons identified by Condé Nast Traveler is its strategic geographical location.
