Representatives of Dubai’s tourism industry forecast 100% occupancy of hotels by the end of December 2023, i.e. for Christmas and New Year holidays. According to experts, in early November, 75% of hotels in Dubai have already been booked for the holiday season, the remaining rooms are expected to be sold out during December.

Booking.com service notes that 80% of hotels are already booked for Christmas and 88% for New Year’s Eve. Every year Dubai witnesses a huge influx of tourists during the festive season, which has long been a peak season for local tour operators.

In January-September 2023, Dubai welcomed 12.4 million travellers. It is predicted that this year will be a record year in terms of bookings. Increased demand and advance bookings to hotel owners to increase room rates by 20% compared to the same period last year.

First of all, 100% occupancy awaits hotels located on Sheikh Zayed Highway overlooking the Burj Khalifa skyscraper from 27 December 2023 to 2 January 2024. Dubai has become one of the top tourist destinations in the world due to its unique attractions that attract international visitors for holidays.
