New resort complex to open in Dubai

Caesar’s Palace Dubai hotel is set to rebrand this month. The resort will be managed by the Ennismore Group (Accor chain), which will rethink the overall concept and introduce two hotels – Banyan Tree Hotel and Bluewaters Beach Hotel.

The resort complex will specialise in wellness treatments: spa, yoga classes, gym, hydrotherapy pools. The changes and upgrades will not affect holidaymakers due to the smooth transition process. Infrastructure will remain common to both hotels, including the beach and pools. Small changes will affect the restaurants.

Thus, from 26 November Caracol will be opened instead of Hell’s Kitchen restaurant. In general, the hotels’ gastronomic offerings are extensive and varied: several restaurants serving international, Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine, lounges, bars and cafes at beach clubs are waiting for guests. Bluewaters Beach Hotel sales are now open and room bookings at Banyan Tree Hotel will be available from 26 November.

Representatives of the tourism industry in Dubai forecast 100% occupancy of hotels by the end of December 2023, that is, for Christmas and New Year holidays. According to experts, in early November, 75% of hotels in Dubai have already been booked for the holiday season, the remaining rooms are expected to be sold out during December.

Booking.com service notes that 80% of hotels are already booked for Christmas and 88% for New Year’s Eve. Every year Dubai witnesses a huge influx of tourists during the festive season, which has long been a peak season for local tour operators.

In January-September 2023, Dubai welcomed 12.4 million travellers. It is predicted that this year will be a record year in terms of bookings. Increased demand and advance bookings will give hotel owners the opportunity to raise room rates by 20% compared to the same period last year.
