Emirates named the world’s best airline again

Emirates drew attention at the ULTRA 2023 Awards, winning two prestigious honours. The major international airline was named ‘World’s Best Airline’ and ‘Middle East’s Best Airline’ as voted by several thousand international travellers.

Thomas Ney, Senior Vice President of Emirates’ Service Delivery Division, accepted the award in a ceremony held at Dubai’s Nikki Beach venue. The event was also attended by other distinguished guests and leading members of the travel industry.

Emirates recently opened a new City Check-In area at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), expanded its global network with a new route to Montreal, introduced a pre-order catering service opening up the opportunity to choose meals in advance, and offered free Wi-Fi on board to all Emirates Skywards members.

Emirates recently won the APEX 2024 World Class title for outstanding customer service and demonstrating global standards of safety and comfort as well as sustainability. In addition, the airline received the IFSA 2024 Best Onboard Amenities Award for its eco-friendly travel kits in Economy Class.

Emirates operates the world’s largest fleet of wide-body Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft with spacious cabins and legendary onboard services such as shower-SPA and Onboard Lounge on the A380. The airline announced a record first half of the 2023-2024 financial year, carrying more than 26 million passengers across its extensive route network over the period.
