14 new hotels to open in UAE in 2024

With 14 new hotels set to open in the UAE in 2024, any traveller will be able to choose their ideal holiday destination.

One&Only One Za’abeel in Dubai is scheduled to open on 1 January with 229 rooms. Some of the suites in the Sanctuary Collection feature massage tables for in-room treatments and a meditation area. The property will house 10 Michelin-class restaurants.

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is scheduled to open in Ras Al Khaimah on 15 January. This eco-friendly resort, inspired by the Maldives, will be located on the shores of the Persian Gulf, surrounded by mangroves.

The Dorchester Collection’s first Lana hotel in the Middle East will open in Dubai on 1 February. The complex will have 225 rooms and several luxury residences. Siro One Za’abeel is also scheduled to open on 1 February. The hotel’s concept is a holistic approach to wellness based on its signature aspects of fitness, healthy eating, sleep and recovery.

Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat will open in the UAE capital on 15 February. The hotel will have 22 rooms and will focus on exclusivity, personalised service and privacy. The hotel will have a private beach, outdoor pool and cinema.

Lux Al Jabal Resort will open in Sharjah in the second quarter. Surrounded by nature, the resort will be located on a hillside overlooking Soueifa Beach. The hotel will have 45 rooms, with a signature dining concept focusing on raw, vegan and vegetarian cuisine.

There will also be a 365-metre Ciel Tower with a 1,000-room observatory, and Mama Shelter Dubai will open in October, bringing a hippie vibe to Dubai. The Five Lux Hotel, famous for its parties and fun atmosphere, is expected to open in winter. Marsa Al Arab, with a superyacht marina next to the Burj Al Arab, will open in phases throughout 2024.

In October, Lux Al Bridi Resort with tented accommodation will launch at Sharjah Safari Park. Rove Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is scheduled to open by the end of the year, featuring a vibrant urban design, and Saij, A Mantis Collection Mountain Lodge, an eco-resort with 70 luxury lodges.

In Dubai, along Sheikh Zayed Road, the Fairmont Dubai Skyline Hotel will stand 226 metres tall. Its unique architecture includes asymmetrical balconies, which at night will be illuminated by a 4.5 kilometre long spiral, creating the illusion of movement.
