Hatta 2023 festival kicks off in the UAE

Among the serene mountains of the Emirate of Dubai, in Hatta Wadi, the festival Hatta 2023 has started. It will run until 2 January 2024. Opening hours are from 12 noon to 12 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and from 4 p.m. to 11 a.m. on weekdays.

UAE residents and visitors wishing to attend the festival can drive to Hatta via Sharjah-Kalba Road, or take the RTA bus, which departs from Dubai Mall at 7am and runs every two hours.

Throughout the festival, the Hatta Wadi Hub Visitor Centre will be the heart of entertainment for visitors of all ages. Anoukas adorned with neon lights will take centre stage, transforming the venue into a dazzling wonderland, while live entertainment will delight every visitor with soulful tunes by local artists, fire shows, performances by local bands and musicians, and an LED light show.

There will be plenty of entertainment for children, from a variety of games to roller skating and slides. The youngest guests at the event will be able to show off their creativity with face painting, embroidery, gardening and more, as well as taking part in workshops.

The festival has a stunning open-air cinema for those who want to watch a movie under the stars. Carnival stalls and arcade games will also provide plenty of fun for visitors, providing the perfect mix of nostalgia and modern entertainment.

Foodies will have the opportunity to experience Dubai’s culinary delights: visitors can enjoy dining at various stalls representing the city’s food scene. These food outlets offer a varied menu, allowing them to indulge in local and international cuisine in a festive festival atmosphere.

The opening of Hatta 2023 was attended by families from the UAE and Oman looking to have a good time. There are designated barbecue areas in the centre of Hatta Wadi where you can pick up marinated meat, light coals and enjoy with your family. The authorities have also set up an area where visitors can take a short nap before an eventful evening.
