Spring camps for children to be launched in Dubai

During the spring break from 12-16 February 2024, Dubai will be running a host of children’s camps offering activities to suit all tastes, from cable car rides and outdoor games, from acting lessons to sports lessons.

Aventura Park

Aventura Park’s February camp is themed ‘Under the Sea’. This will give children the opportunity to explore their creative side in arts and crafts and teach them empathy in animal care classes.

You can sign your child up for the camp for a week or for daily visits. The cost includes a snack and water, lunch can be brought from home.

A visit will cost AED 275 daily and AED 1175 for a week. The camp is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Courtyard Playhouse

The first theatre camp for young actors is for children aged four to seven years old. Each day, kids will be introduced to a new Julia Donaldson book, including “Tyrannosaurus Drip,” “Ugarlump and the Unicorn,” “Wake up Do, Lydia Lou!” and “Tabby McTat.” These books will be used as a base for games, pantomime, role play and workshops.

The second camp is for teens ages 8 to 11 and will introduce them to Percy Jackson and the Olympians Book 1: Lightening Thief through theatre. Participants will learn how to tell stories, hold their own on stage, create characters and work as a team.

Both camps cost AED 1,315.

Street Maniax Freestyle Park

From trampoline parkour to bouncers and even a ninja course, this park has a variety of activities. During the camp, kids will play games, win prizes and do arts and crafts. Food and drinks are included in the price. The Air Maniax Adventure Park branch offers the same option.

A weekly pass is available for AED 674, while a one-off visit will cost AED 153. The camp is open from 8:30am to 2pm.

Trampo Extreme

Little ones will have plenty to do at Trampo Exteme, which has two branches at Dubai Mall and Nakheel Mall. The adventure parks have trampolines, 16 different bouncy rides, a huge construction set and a soft play area. For the duration, children will be divided into groups based on age.

A one-time visit costs AED 200, while a week’s pass costs AED 900. The camp will be open from 10:00am to 2:00pm (Dubai Mall) and 9:00am to 2:00pm (Nakheel Mall).
