Dubai International Boat Show 2024 kicks off in Dubai

More than 46 new products and 400 new brands and luxury superyachts were unveiled at the 30th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show 2024, which kicked off in Dubai on 28 February.

The anniversary event, the largest in the Middle East, runs until 3 March 2024. The Dubai Harbour area is showcasing more than 200 boats from the world’s leading shipyards such as Azimut, Sunseeker Gulf, Gulf Craft, Finnmaster, HP Watermakers, Oceano and Althaus Yachts.

It is worth noting that the Middle East region is now home to 12.6 per cent of the world’s superyacht fleet, with these figures growing steadily. The 46 yachts will be shown to the public for the first time at the Dubai Yacht Show.

IMG Boats, Riviera Boats and Al Fajer, as well as SF Yachts, Williams Tender, Ferretti and others have prepared for the launches. This year’s show attracted exhibitors from 55 countries, with companies from Austria, Finland, Sweden and South Korea participating for the first time.

The luxury yacht market is expected to reach US$ 481 million by 2028. The Dubai Yacht Show features a range of premium retail outlets showcasing everything from luxury watches to supercars and exclusive artworks by renowned international artists.

The event takes place at Dubai Harbour, which is set to become the largest marina in the region. Visitors will not only see luxury boats moored along the pier, but can also learn about the latest yacht technology and design.

In addition, on 28 February 2024, during the Dubai Boat Show in Dubai, visitors can experience a unique aerial competition – the world’s first Dubai Jet Suit Race.
