Global Village announces free entry for children
Global Village in Dubai has announced that children under the age of 12 will have free entry to the multicultural park until the end of the season. The attraction will close on 28 April, and will only reopen its doors to the public six months later, in October 2024.
For the 2023-2024 season, there are tickets of two types: “Value”, valid from Sunday to Thursday (except public holidays), and “Any Day”, which allow visitors to visit the park on any day of the week, including weekends and public holidays. Admission tickets start from AED 22.5 for ‘Value’; and AED 27 for ‘Any Day’ when booked online or through the app.
Tickets to Global Village are usually free for children under three years old, seniors 65 and over, and people with disabilities.
This year, Global Village has added entire gastronomic neighbourhoods such as Happiness Street, Railway Market, Floating Market and Road to Asia, showcasing culinary delights from countries such as Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines and more.
Global Village also introduced several new rides and attractions this year, including Mini World, Carnaval and an outdoor extreme playground.
“Mini World”, located behind Restaurant Alley and covering an area of 10,000 square metres, is an exciting collaboration of symbols of world cultures, featuring 25 miniature replicas of famous landmarks such as the Burj al-Arab, Arc de Triomphe and the Pyramids of Giza.
Carnaval is fun for the whole family with more than 195 rides, skill games, carousels and stalls where there is something for everyone, regardless of age.
The Challenge Zone includes a 32 metre long ninja trail, a 15 metre slide and a four-level ropes course. It offers children from the age of seven a series of ten different extreme outdoor challenges.
