CoveBeach welcomes guests
Dubai’s popular beach club CoveBeach has relocated to the seaside neighbourhood of JBR and has resumed welcoming guests at the height of the hot summer. The club’s Sierra beach restaurant is now operational – it welcomes guests for lunch and dinner.
The CoveBeach Dubai Sushi Bar offers a range of rolls, while the Sierra Lounge offers a wide selection of cocktails and snacks. In addition, the first pool has opened, with sun loungers and changing cubicles available to guests. A second pool – for adults – is promised to open closer to autumn.
Earlier, some beach clubs in Dubai went on summer holidays. Thus, Summersalt – a beach club at the hotel Jumeirah Al Naseem at Madinat Jumeirah – is closed until 15 September 2024.
In July, WHITE Beach at Atlantis Resort, The Palm, DRIFT Beach Club at the luxury One&Only Royal Mirage Hotel and Soul Beach, with its Ibiza resort vibe, ceased hosting guests.
Meanwhile, Jumeirah 1 is nearing the end of a redevelopment that will see a resort complex called J1 Beach take the place of La Mer. The new beachfront area will include 13 restaurants and several beach clubs. The opening of J1 Beach is announced for autumn 2024.
Already announced are the opening of French restaurant African Queen, Lebanese fusion concept Almayass by the Sea, exclusive beachfront complex Chouchou, Mexican restaurant Gitano, Spanish-Mediterranean Lúnico, and Kaimana, specialising in Polynesian dishes with an Asian accent.
The resort will also be home to renowned beach clubs Sirene Beach by Gaia, Bâoli and Gigi Rigolatto. Gastroconcept Sakhalin, haute cuisine restaurant Mūn and New York’s La Baia are also preparing to open.
