Tourists in Dubai can visit city’s tallest buildings
Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism has reminded travellers and lovers of breathtaking views of the opportunities to visit observation decks in the city’s tallest buildings.
The legendary 828 metre high Burj Khalifa skyscraper is not only the tallest building in the world and a masterpiece of engineering art, but also one of the main symbols of modern Dubai. 11 floors of Burj Khalifa are occupied by Armani Hotel Dubai.
The skyscraper has two observation decks: the two-level At the Top on the 124th and 125th floors and one of the highest observation decks in the world on the 148th floor of the building at a height of 555 metres. Also on the 152, 153 and 154 floors is The Lounge, Burj Khalifa, which is considered the highest lounge in the world.
At 356.3 metres high at the World Trade Centre complex on Sheikh Zayed Road, Gevora Hotel is considered the tallest hotel in the world. You can enjoy the view from the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool, which is open daily from 8:00 to 10:00 am.
The 355 metre high JW Marriott Marquis is the second tallest hotel in the world and the tallest 5-star hotel in the world, in the Business Bay area. It is renowned for its impeccable service, over 10 restaurants and bars, and the Saray Spa.
The famous Jumeirah Burj Al Arab is a 321 metre tall sail-shaped hotel built on an artificial island, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. The building is 14 metres taller than the Eiffel Tower and just 60 metres lower than the Empire State Building.
