MOHRE services require UAE Pass now
Authorities in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday announced changes to the access rules for the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) platforms.
In order to use MOHRE services from 18 October this year, a UAE Pass must be used instead of the usual username and password.
All other login details, including usernames and passwords, will be removed and replaced, the ministry said.
The UAE Pass is the official digital identifier for residents and citizens of the country, giving users access to all government services. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), like other agencies in the UAE, has made its services easily accessible through its website, app and other online platforms.
Employers often use the ministry’s channels to process and cancel work permits and employment contracts, as well as other documents. Those who hire domestic workers also use its platforms to process the necessary paperwork. Missing persons reports are also filed online.
It is worth recalling, in case of an erroneous payment to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), one must go to the website, log in using their Emirates ID or UAE Pass, and submit a refund request through the automated system. Once approved, the payment will be returned to the account within five working days.
