Dubai Kicks Off Mega Sale Extravaganza

Dubai is set to host a grand finale to its shopping season with a massive mega sale running from January 31 to February 2. Following the conclusion of the Dubai Shopping Festival, shoppers can enjoy discounts of up to 90% on a wide range of products. Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the event will feature 500 leading brands and 2,000 stores across the city.

The mega-sale will cover everything from fashion and footwear to electronics and luxury items. Shoppers will also have one last chance to win exciting prizes, including cash, cars, and gold.

This event is part of Dubai’s broader 2025 calendar of festivals and sales, which includes 14 major events spanning cultural, entertainment, and retail activities. Highlights include Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr celebrations from February 28 to April 6, featuring public events, light installations, night markets, and traditional tents. Eid al-Fitr will also bring massive sales.

Other key events include the Dubai Games Festival (April 25–May 11), the Game Expo (May 7–8), and three-day super sales in May and November offering up to 90% off on clothing, footwear, accessories, electronics, furniture, appliances, and groceries. Eid al-Adha (June 2–8) will feature fireworks, restaurant deals, and discounts, while the Dubai Summer Surprises festival will run from June 27 to August 31.

Back-to-school sales are scheduled for August 4–28, followed by the Dubai Home Festival (October 3–16) and the Diwali Festival of Lights (October 17–26). The Dubai Fitness Challenge (November 1–30) will include events like the Dubai Run Challenge, Dubai Cycling Challenge, and Dubai Rowing Challenge.

The year wraps up with Union Day celebrations (December 1–3), featuring special shopping offers, fireworks, and citywide entertainment.

Dubai’s 2025 calendar promises a year of non-stop excitement, blending shopping, culture, and entertainment for residents and visitors alike.
