Therme Dubai: Meet World’s Tallest Thermal Resort
Dubai, known for its record-breaking architectural marvels, has announced plans to construct the world’s tallest wellness resort, Therme Dubai. This ambitious project, estimated to cost AED 2 billion, will feature a massive interactive park and the world’s largest indoor botanical garden. Set to open in 2028, Therme Dubai will be located in Zabeel Park and is expected to welcome 1.7 million visitors annually.
The resort will stand at an impressive height of 100 meters, with a total built-up area of 500,000 square feet. Designed to cater to a wide range of visitors, the complex will be divided into three distinct zones, each dedicated to health restoration, relaxation, and entertainment. Guests can look forward to therapeutic areas, thermal pools, and family-friendly spaces, making it a holistic destination for wellness and leisure.
Therme Dubai is part of Dubai’s broader urban strategy to enhance the quality of life for its residents and visitors by 2033. This strategy includes the development of over 1,000 annual themed events, the renovation of 200 parks, and a threefold increase in the length of beachside cycling paths. The project aligns with the city’s vision to become a global hub for tourism, wellness, and sustainability.
The Therme brand is already well-established, with operational resorts in Romania and Germany, and plans for expansion in Scotland, England, and Canada. Therme Dubai, however, aims to set a new benchmark in luxury wellness tourism, combining cutting-edge technology, nature-inspired design, and world-class amenities.
As Dubai continues to push the boundaries of innovation and luxury, Therme Dubai promises to be a landmark destination, offering a unique blend of relaxation, recreation, and rejuvenation. With its grand opening just a few years away, the world eagerly awaits the next chapter in Dubai’s story of architectural and cultural excellence.
