Dubai Municipality has unveiled the region’s first drive-through laboratory, revolutionizing the way residents and businesses submit samples for testing. Located within the Dubai Central Laboratory complex, this innovative facility allows clients to complete the process without leaving their vehicles, significantly cutting wait times and enhancing service efficiency.

The high-tech laboratory slashes data transfer times by 90%, reducing the process from 10 minutes to just one. Designed to handle peak-hour demand, the drive-through service delivers results in under a minute, supported by a dedicated results collection window. Specialized vehicles ensure swift and secure transportation of diverse samples, ranging from medical tests and food products to environmental materials, consumer goods, and electromechanical devices.

The service caters to government and semi-government entities, private companies, and professionals across sectors such as healthcare, ecology, safety, aviation, and space industries. Emphasizing inclusivity, the lab features accessibility enhancements for elderly individuals and people with disabilities, ensuring equitable access to its cutting-edge services.

Operating Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, the facility offers customer support in five languages, reflecting Dubai’s cosmopolitan ethos. This multilingual approach streamlines communication for international clients and expatriates.
