Buddha-Bar Beach Honeymoon Island Breaks Ground in Dubai
Dubai is set to welcome a new luxury destination as developers announce plans for the region’s first dedicated honeymoon island resort. Located on the artificial archipelago The Heart of Europe, the project will introduce two premium hospitality concepts: Buddha-Bar Hotel and Buddha-Bar Beach Honeymoon Island. The development agreement was signed between Kleindienst Group, the master developer of the archipelago, and George V Eatertainment, with an estimated investment of 3 billion dirhams ($817 million). Construction is expected to take approximately 24 months.
The Buddha-Bar Beach Honeymoon Island will cater exclusively to couples, offering a “barefoot luxury” experience with a bohemian atmosphere. Guests can enjoy sunrise yoga sessions, beachfront dining, and evening entertainment featuring world-class DJs. The island will also house an elite beach club with premium lounges and high-end dining options.
Meanwhile, the Buddha-Bar Hotel will feature 162 designer rooms, gourmet restaurants, a luxury spa, and floating villas, blending the brand’s signature ambiance with Dubai’s opulent hospitality standards.
This announcement follows another upcoming project on The Heart of Europe—a 466-room hotel inspired by Italy’s Portofino, scheduled to open in early 2026. The Portofino-themed hotel will include a six-story aquarium and a coral restoration center, emphasizing sustainability alongside luxury.
These developments reinforce Dubai’s position as a leading destination for high-end tourism, offering unique experiences for honeymooners and luxury travelers. With its combination of romantic seclusion, eco-conscious design, and world-class amenities, The Heart of Europe continues to redefine luxury living in the Middle East.
