Emaar Invites UAE Talent to Illuminate Burj Khalifa With Art
Residents of the UAE have been given a rare opportunity to see their artwork displayed on the world’s tallest tower. A unique competition organized by Emaar has been launched in Dubai, inviting artists, designers, and creative individuals from across the emirate to submit their work for a chance to be projected onto the iconic Burj Khalifa. The contest runs from May 6 to May 26, 2025, with the winner receiving a prize of 100,000 dirhams.
The competition is open to all creative minds who wish to showcase their talent against the backdrop of one of the world’s most famous architectural marvels. Participants are encouraged to submit original video or animation works that reflect Dubai’s culture and innovative spirit. Each submission must be three minutes long and meet the technical requirements outlined on the Burj Khalifa’s official website. This initiative offers a remarkable platform for both emerging and established artists to gain international exposure.
Mohamed Alabbar, the founder of Emaar, emphasized that Burj Khalifa is not just a symbol of human achievement but also a canvas for creativity and innovation. He highlighted the company’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing a stage for fresh ideas. The competition, he said, is an invitation for dreamers and creators to contribute to Dubai’s ongoing story of success.
To participate, applicants must send their work to opencall@emaar.ae along with a brief description explaining the inspiration and concept behind their project. This event marks a significant step in supporting local art and culture, offering artists an unparalleled opportunity to make their mark on a global scale. With Burj Khalifa as their stage, the chosen creators will see their visions illuminate the Dubai skyline, sharing their art with the world.
