Bvlgari Announces Ultra-Luxury Resort on Private Abu Dhabi Island

Abu Dhabi has unveiled plans for an ultra-luxury Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts property set to open on a private island in 2030. Developed by Eagle Hills, the horseshoe-shaped resort will represent Bvlgari’s largest project to date.

The exclusive enclave will feature 60 hotel rooms and suites, 30 coastal villas, and 90 private mansions overlooking the open sea and views towards the Qasr Al Watan palace. All accommodations will blend distinctive Italian design with Middle Eastern aesthetic influences, aiming to create a natural oasis within the metropolis.

Milan-based architectural firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel has been commissioned for the design. Standout features include a flagship five-bedroom villa spanning 1,200 square meters, a private marina, a 40-berth yacht club, and a collection of high-end dining venues. These will encompass Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, the Japanese concept Hōseki, a Turkish restaurant, and the vibrant Bvlgari Bar.

The resort’s 90 mansions promise spacious layouts, with some exceeding 2,500 square meters in size, designed to evoke the monumental presence of “Roman temples.” Extensive wellness facilities will include a large spa, a 25-meter swimming pool, and a fitness center.

This ambitious project marks a significant expansion of the Bvlgari hospitality portfolio and reinforces Abu Dhabi’s position as a destination for ultra-luxury experiences.
