RTA Explores Quantum Leap for Smart Infrastructure
Dubai is positioning itself at the forefront of a technological revolution as its Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) actively investigates the integration of quantum technologies into the emirate’s transport networks, mobility systems, and smart infrastructure. This strategic push was highlighted during a specialized scientific workshop titled “Quantum Communication and its Applications in Smart Infrastructure,” recently hosted by the RTA in collaboration with Cisco, the global leader in networking and cybersecurity. The event brought together quantum communication experts alongside technical and engineering specialists from various RTA departments and external organizations, fostering a collaborative exploration of this cutting-edge field.
