Dubai Launches “Ideal Face 2” Initiative to Promote Positive Social Values
Dubai has unveiled a new initiative aimed at fostering positive behavior and strengthening a culture of civilized interaction within the emirate. Titled “Ideal Face 2,” the program was officially launched with the opening of an interactive information stand at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport (DXB) on July 4th.
The initiative, spearheaded by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai, operates under the slogan “This is the Dubai we want.” Its core objective is to encourage exemplary conduct and reinforce the social and humanitarian values that underpin Dubai’s society.
The stand prominently features models showcasing good behavior, reflecting the emirate’s cherished social and humanitarian principles. The launch was attended by high-ranking officials, including GDRFA Director-General General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Dubai Airports CEO Majed Al Joker, and GDRFA Deputy Director-General General Obaid Muhair bin Surour. The delegation toured the stand, exploring its interactive sections and assessing the level of community engagement it fosters.
Operating daily until July 13th, the “Ideal Face 2” stand invites airport visitors and passengers to participate in creative activities. It serves as a platform to learn about the values the initiative promotes and to share personal stories highlighting kindness, honesty, and respect. A key feature allows guests to make a personal pledge to uphold these positive principles, contributing to the wider dissemination of constructive behavioral models throughout the community.
General Al Marri emphasized the significance of the platform, stating that it is a practical embodiment of the UAE’s vision to actively integrate positive values into daily life. He highlighted that the stand creates an interactive experience, underscoring the importance of ethical conduct and further cementing Dubai’s role as a global hub for humanistic engagement. The initiative represents a tangible step towards realizing the desired social environment for the emirate.
