Dubai Kicks Off Record-Breaking Summer Shopping Festival with Massive Deals
Dubai has launched its biggest-ever Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) festival, a major shopping and entertainment extravaganza running for 66 days until August 31, 2025. Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, the event aims to boost both domestic and inbound tourism across hotels, resorts, restaurants, retail, and entertainment.
The cornerstone of DSS 2025 is the unprecedented DSS ENTERTAINER program, featuring over 7,500 “buy one get one free” offers. These deals span a wide range of experiences, including dining, hotel stays, spa treatments, fitness centers, and tourist attractions. Major participants include popular destinations like Wild Wadi Waterpark, MOTIONGATE Dubai, IMG Worlds of Adventure, and Real Madrid World.
Residents of the UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council countries receive exclusive hospitality benefits. Dozens of participating hotels are offering special discounts of up to 30% on stays, complimentary breakfast, restaurant bonuses, and resort credit. This initiative aims to encourage local and regional summer stays.
Key Dubai attractions are also rolling out significant summer promotions. Venues such as AYA Universe, The Green Planet, Legoland Dubai, Motiongate Dubai, Dubai Crocodile Park, and Neon Galaxy are featuring special seasonal rates and enticing “kids go free” promotions, making family outings more accessible.
The festival implements a three-phase retail strategy to drive continuous engagement:
- Summer Break: Runs from June 27 to July 17.
- Mega Summer Sale: Takes place from July 18 to August 10.
- Back to School: Concludes the festival from August 11 to August 31.
Each phase will include themed promotions, prize draws, and mall events designed to attract shoppers throughout the summer period. Now in its 28th edition, Dubai Summer Surprises remains a crucial driver for the emirate’s tourism and retail sectors during the warmer months, solidifying Dubai’s position as a year-round destination.
