Emirates Launches New Limited-Edition Travel Collection

Emirates has unveiled its second limited-edition collection of travel аccessories, Aircrafted by Emirates, crafted from recycled materials salvaged during the extensive cabin refurbishment of its iconic A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft.

Following the success of its 2023 debut, the new collection is now available in the airline’s official online store, featuring 167 unique pieces, including wheeled suitcases, backpacks, and bags—one of which is made from the original captain’s seat upholstery.

Designed and hand-stitched in a workshop at Emirates’ engineering center in Dubai, the collection was brought to life by a team of 14 tailors who typically work on aircraft interior repairs.

As part of its fleet modernization program, Emirates has already refurbished 63 planes, collecting over 30 tons of materials, including aluminum parts, leather from first and business-class seats, A380 lounge fabrics, and even seatbelts. Before being repurposed, all fabrics undergo thorough cleaning and hand-finishing, while leather pieces are sanitized and treated with conditioners.

A significant portion of the proceeds from the collection will go to the Emirates Airline Foundation, a charity supporting underprivileged children worldwide. The airline plans to refurbish a total of 219 aircraft in the coming years.

This initiative not only gives retired aircraft materials a second life but also aligns with Emirates’ commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. Travelers can now own a piece of aviation history while contributing to a meaningful cause.
