Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra Announces Engagement to Rapper French Montana

Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and American rapper French Montana, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, have announced their engagement by sharing a joint photograph on Instagram.

The image shows the musician holding his fiancée’s hand while displaying a massive engagement ring featuring an 11.5-carat diamond. The custom-designed piece was created by jeweler Mavani.

According to media reports, the ring is valued at over one million dollars. While official details of the proposal have not been disclosed, representatives for the artist confirmed the couple became engaged in June.

Sheikha Mahra is the daughter of the UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. She was previously married to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, with whom she shares a daughter, before their marriage ended in divorce.
